Friday evening and you can feel how spring is about to break winter. It’s those little advances that may not come every day but still subtly make themselves felt… you can feel it hanging in the air. Life is like that sometimes. You work and work at things and when you’re in the middle of it, the impact of your endeavors doesn’t show but when you get some distance and perspective, you can see how far you’ve come. Achievement… achieving something is something fleeting and something we often seek validation of from others but something we should see and appreciate in ourselves more often to be able to push on even if it looks bleak at the moment. Whatever you bring to the world, mother-nature values you enough to choose to keep you around…so even if your struggle feels comfortless, you are valuable in your endeavor.
So what do you bring to your achievement and pursuit? That’s a rhetorical question everyone should ask themselves. The world seems to be upside down many times but we believe it is more often right than wrong which then also means we are moving in the right direction even if it looks dark. Just as the darkness falls on us at times, we believe and know that we are doing the right things that make ourselves, those around us, and the world at large go in the right direction. This gives us the motivation and confidence to keep contributing and achieving great things.
Stars shine brightest when the sky is darkest.
